I feel lost

Today we had some free time between two classes. I thought I could spend that time with my bf, but he had other plans. He wanted to study. I could have used the time as well, but I didn't bring my stuff, because I thought I would be doing other things. Now we sat in a small room where we couldn't talk because there were other people "studying". He could have called me, he could have warned me.
I feel so lost sometimes.
I know he's there for me, but not when I need him the most.
